Lent Vigil praying for the end to abortion

The Nottingham 40 Days for Life, Praying for an end to abortion, runs between Wednesday 18 ^th February and Sunday 29 ^th March. During these 40 days of Lent pro-lifers will be: praying for an end to abortion in our community near the main abortion clinic in Nottinghamshire; offering peaceful witness to God's love and the possibility of healing; offering practical, non-judgemental help to women who may want to consider an alternative to abortion, and offering support for post-abortive women. If you would like to explore the Christian Faith, ask questions, have time to think and pray, and meet other people who are on their own journey, please join us. We meet every 2nd and 4th Thursday at 18:30 in the crypt of Our Lady of Lourdes. You do not need to bring anything other than yourself and a friend if you like.

The Diocese have produced a leaflet on the Blessed Sacrament to help prepare us for the restoration of Communion under both kinds this coming Easter, and to provide us with some Lenten meditation. There is a link to the document here and copies available in the narthex of the churches
